The best way to tell you what CFC/philippines is, is by letting the Word of God explain it. "That we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness by which they lie in wait to deceive, but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head - Christ - from whom the whole body, joined supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love." Eph. 4:14-16 God places men and women in ministries, that are willing to obey and respond to God's call. The success of those ministries rest solely on the sovereign will of God and by His grace as long as His servants remain obedient to His instruction. "Not by might, nor by power, but by My Spirit says the Lord of Host." Zech. 4:6

In His Service

We at Campfires for Christ are a group of Christians that desire to serve the body of Christ in any way that He leads us too. We are available to work with individuals, churches, parachurch organizations, etc... please allow us to serve Him by serving you. If you have any questions don't hesitate to call or write. "...You know that those who are regarded as rulers of the gentiles lord it over them, and their high officials exercise authority over them. Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first must be your slave." Matt. 20:25-27

Where it all Began

Campfires for Christ was born from the initiative of a committed and enthusiastic young Christian who came to know Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior through a Christian camp. From it's humble beginnings in a camp held at Imus, Cavite Philippines in March 1975, CFC has grown through the years with the support of devoted Christian workers and campers who have been part of CFC's ministries. An earnest commitment and a deep love for Christ bind the friends and supporters of CFC who all believe the importance of Christian camping as a tool for evangelism, discipleship, and leadership. CFC was duly incorporated under the Securities and Exchange Commission of the Republic of the Philippines on July 14, 1983 as Campfires For Christ, INC. Since then, CFC has widened the scope of it's ministry with the basic purpose of bringing the Gospel closer to the hearts of the people. As the years went by those young pioneers grew up and had to move on into adulthood, career, and marriage, but not before discipling other maturing Christians who had caught the same vision as the original campers. They stood firm on the Lord's Great Commission. "All authority in Heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, son, and Holy Ghost, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you, and surely I am with you always to the very end of the age." Matt. 28:18-20

CFC in the Philippines has continued since then and is still in full operation today and has reached thophilippinesnds of individuals through the camping ministry. Many have gone on to become Pastors, church administrators, and valuable active participants of their local church or denomination. God, through His infinite grace and wisdom, has brought together over half of the original campers and their spouses, children, and new friends to Southern California. Is God awesome, or what? In 1997, God prompted our hearts to have a reunion of all the CFC'ers that are now living within the United States. Over 30 came with their families. The theme was "Fan Into The Flame" and the Lord did just that. He rekindled the fire and hope that CFC could become a reality here in the United States.
